In September 2011 I was tired of hearing about the crime, rape, missing children, home invasions, unemployment and declining home values in our communities. I then decided that I wanted to change the face of my community, so I was led by God to start a weekly prayer call entitled People of Passion Praying 2Gether for Our Communities.
The focus of this prayer group is to pray the will of God to manifest in our communities -- that all will live the abundant life that Jesus died for us to have while binding the plots, schemes and plans of the Devil.
According to Matthew 18:19-20 Jesus said, "if two of us agree on earth concerning anything that we ask, it will be done for us by our Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in His name, He is in the midst of them." Our time together on Friday mornings will change the face of our communities making a mark in them for the Kingdom that can never be erased.
The Bible says that the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent takes by force and that's what we are assigned to do, take our Communities By Force! We have recognized the sign of the times we are in and are setting ourselves to create a revival in the land like never before!
We meet every Friday morning at 6am Eastern Standard Time for a half hour to pray on behalf of our communities. Our theme scripture is 2 Chronicles 7:14 which states "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
